Roller Shutter Door Sizes and Dimensions
There is no single standard roller shutter door size, because most openings are slightly different. That is why Affordable Group makes every door to measure. However, the table below shows common opening sizes in South Africa as a starting point.

| Double garage | about 4.9 m x 2.1 m |

These are common openings only. Every door we make is built to your exact measurements.
Measure the width
Measure the opening between the walls at the top, middle and bottom. Then use the smallest figure.
Measure the height
Measure from the floor to the underside of the lintel on both sides, and use the smallest figure.
Check the headroom
The door rolls up into a barrel above the opening. Therefore, measure the space between the lintel and the ceiling.
Check the side room
The guides need space next to the opening on both sides. Measure the wall space on the left and right.
